After six days and five nights, I have been discharged following my sigmoidectomy and surprise removal of left ovary and Fallopian tube!! It’s always good to break out of the hospital!! There’s never any real rest while you are in there! 🤪
I won’t bore everyone with too many details. I had a couple of really hard days in the hospital full of laryngeal spasms (from intubation) and an allergic all body reaction to unknown (possibly chlorhexidine wipes, pain pump, or detergent). Overall, I would take one step back and two forward. Progress is progress. Andy and my mom took turns staying the night during my stay which was a great help.
Just wanted to make a quick post to let y’all know that I’m out and resting comfortably in a nearby hotel for the next few days or so. Following that, I will continue my recovery at home .

This is great news and I’m sure this has been so difficult to say the least . But with you , you are a warrior and you fight thru the hard times . I’m praying for your continued recovery thru this process and I know you got this ! You did not come this far .., only to succeed 💖💖
