I finally have my latest scan results, and overall, this is good news (not great, but good)!

My scans show no new areas of disease and no evidence of progression. Everything we are currently watching is stable with no new growth compared with my previous scan in June.
The two small spots in my left lung are unchanged, and the lymph nodes they have been watching in my chest are also unchanged.
The overall assessment from the scan was stable disease with no new progressive findings to suggest recurrent or metastatic colon cancer.
I also received some more encouraging news β my CEA has dropped even further to 1.4! CEA is a tumor marker that we follow through bloodwork, and normal is considered 3.0 or less, so seeing mine continue to drop is definitely something I am thankful for.
So basically, there are no new areas, no new growth, and the existing spots are stable. That is GREAT news, and I am incredibly grateful.
But if Iβm being completely truthful, I was hoping to hear that those spots were completely gone. Iβm happy and thankful for stability, while at the same time still praying and hoping for that completely clear scan. That is the goal!
For now, we stay the course. I will continue my treatment and keep moving forward.
They also drew a new Signatera, which is the circulating tumor DNA test that we have been following. This next result is incredibly important to me. I am praying so hard for that number to come back ZERO.

Results usually take around nine days, give or take, so now we wait.
Please pray with me for a ZERO Signatera and that the next scan brings even better news.
Thank you to every single person who continues to check on me, encourage me, pray for me, and support me through all of this. Your kind words and prayers mean more than you could possibly know.
I love all of you.
And I will continue to say this every chance I get:
PLEASE GET YOUR COLONOSCOPY!
Early detection matters. Donβt put it off!!!
