Scan-a-palozza Results!

Posted on July 22, 2024 by admin

My PET scan and MRIs and last week’s CT scan all reflect a similar story . Based on everything we can see (Peritoneal cancer is often not easily scannable), there are no new areas of cancer! The three previous spots had a mixed response. One is stable. One is smaller. One is slightly bigger. We are taking this as a win that there are no new visible areas!

The CT scan last Tuesday also revealed that the blood clot is gone! What this means for me is that it’s time to start planning surgery. CRS/HIPEC is my only chance for cure. I am a fighter! This will be the path I choose!

This all sounds pretty straightforward. However, it is not. The most important thing right now is to select the best surgeon quickly. Of course we have been working on this in the periphery, but it is no easy task!

Fast forward to today and God has opened another door! We are headed to Yale for a third opinion with Dr Kiran Turaga. I am excited for this opportunity!

Keep praying for the best surgeon to reveal themselves to me!
Pray for all disease to b

You know the drill… GET YOUR COLONOSCOPY!!!!

Good News Angela what you have gone through so far, this operation has to be the final cure. We are all praying and hoping it will be successful. I know there is great surgeon who will agree to perform this operation. Now is the time to strongly believe and say to yourself “ I am going to beat this cancer once and for all!”
