Ok, it’s a little complicated. There’s some activity on liver and colon but only in surgical areas, so this could be meaningless and just due to the surgical trauma to those areas.
There is asymmetric nonspecific activity in the left tonsillar region but this could just be from swallowing during scan and almost unheard of that colon cancer would spread there.
Overall it’s a WIN! (Of course I would have preferred an all clear). No areas with new cancer. Lungs are clear, rectum clear, lymph nodes and spine clear! Oncologist called me and she considers it “NED”. No Evidence Of Disease is a term oncology uses to say that there is nothing seen that our current technology has the ability to measure.
So, as my incision and body are still healing, I am going to ease into my new normal! Took the boat out briefly which is “normal” for me, but I could not have done it without my daughter Tiffani who put the anchors out and did all the heavy lifting. A shout out to my husband Andy for having a ladder installed that is less effort to use!
GET YOUR COLONOSCOPY! My Cancer was 100% preventable! For me a missed colonoscopy (thanks COVID) equaled Stage 4 colon cancer that spread to my liver. Stop making excuses!!! 🤪
